The new Mizuno ST-MAX 230 Driver showcases a groundbreaking 460cc footprint and an expansive composite sole, pushing boundaries in forgiveness and stability. Its rear weight, positioned far from the face due to the extended profile, enhances MOI significantly, marking it as Mizuno’s most forgiving driver to date.
In addition to its forgiveness, the ST-MAX 230 boasts impressive distance, courtesy of Mizuno’s innovative CORTECH Chamber technology. This technology, housing a stainless steel weight with elastomeric TPU near the face, not only reduces spin but also acts as an extra energy source for enhanced ball speed. By lessening stress on the face, engineers can craft it from a more robust material, resulting in a thinner, faster face with a multi-thickness design that maintains high ball speed even on off-center hits.
The ST-MAX 230 Driver offers three stock shaft options, catering to various player preferences: the low-launch, low-spin HZRDUS Smoke Green RDX, the mid-launch, mid-spin Kai’li Blue, and the high-launch, high-spin LIN-Q M40X Red.
